Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Walk To School Day

Students, parents, teachers and Greenbelt police all took to the streets to celebrate Walk to School Day.  Greenbelt Elementary and Springhill Lake Elementary were the scene of convivial meeting and greeting for students living nearby in the community..  See the gallery of pictures in the paper by clicking here.

Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
