Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court.
Contribute
Your financial contributions to the News Review are most gratefully received, but you should know that they are NOT tax-deductible, as we are a worker cooperative and not designated by IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
You may contribute online via this page or by downloading and filling out a paper form with a check (see #1 below).
Contributions may be made in multiple ways:
Check: This is preferred as it is not subject to fees. Pay Greenbelt News Review and send to Greenbelt News Review, Suite 100, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Checks may also be hand-carried to the office during its open hours of 2 to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday or dropped in the door slot at any other time. Please write “Contribution” in the memo area. Fill out the paper form downloadable by clicking here. (For monthly payments: in your online banking bill-pay service, enter the above News Review mailing address and choose a recurring payment frequency of monthly. )

Square: Enter the amount you wish to contribute in the box below and click Confirm. You will be transferred to the Square system to make payment. Square charges us a processing fee of 3.3% of the dollar amount plus $0.30; we welcome your including that cost in your contribution. Square is available only via this page’s online contribution. Monthly payments are not recommended due to recurring Square fees.
Gifts may be picked up at the office during regular hours of Monday and Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. with ID or proof of payment. Please fill out the form and click SUBMIT to complete the contribution process unless you are filling out a paper form to go with a check.
