Thieves Drive into Mini Mart Smash Front, Steal ATM

Thieves stole the automatic teller machine (ATM) from the Mini Mart in Roosevelt Center at 3:59 a.m. on Thursday, February 9. Pictures from surveillance cameras revealed that “a vehicle described as a white Ford Econoline van backed into the store. Three men then exited the vehicle, entered the store and removed an automatic teller machine,” said Greenbelt Police spokesperson George Mathews. The ATM was loaded onto the van and the suspects fled the scene.
