Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Senior Citizens Voice Concerns At Annual City Council Forum

The annual senior open forum was held on October 8 to allow senior citizens to bring issues of concern before the city council. Betty Timer, the current chair of the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee (SCAC), presided over the meeting. Many committee members were present, including Phyllis Budin, Brenda Cooley, Bunny Fitzgerald, Ed Hickey and Frank Pearlman. Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
