Our Valentine Extravaganza Strikes Again; Pens Ready?

The weather is bleak.  The wind batters the windowpanes.  Night comes early and wolves howl across the endless plains.  Or not.

But with a little love in our hearts, Greenbelters can reach out to the people and institutions they love and cheer them up to get through what remains of the winter doldrums.

The News Review offers the perfect solution:  inexpensive, colorful and celebrated, our Valentine’s Extravaganza is the chance to express your feelings.

How about lauding a councilmember – or a Co-op checker?  What about your Scout Leader or the nice lady who does your hair?  Not to mention, of course, spouses, in-laws, children, faithful dogs and feckless cats.  Good neighbors and the staff at the pool?

Prices are the same as in years past – no affordability challenges there.  The least expensive is $6 and if you wish to wax poetic, the prices go up by $3 for each 10 words.  See the explanation of how to submit a heartfelt message (or one full of hearts) on page 11.
