The paper has four stories on the upcoming primary elections all by Jim Giese. Two are on the front page and concern, respectively, who will replace Barbara Mikulski and the fact that the presidential candidate for each party is not yet sewn up, as it often is by this stage of the game.
On page 7, two more stories discuss the unusual fact that there are more candidates running for judge than there are judgeships available, while a second story is concerned with the candidates running for the congressional primaries.
