Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Gary Childs Named New Review Editor

The Greenbelt News Review is delighted to announce the selection of Gary Childs as its new editor to succeed Mary Lou Williamson who was named editor emerita on her retirement. Childs, a recently retired Foreign Service Officer, and his wife Anita moved to Greenbelt over a year ago. He brings many relevant skills and perspectives to his new role and is already working with Williamson and the paper’s staff to master the intricacies of the paper.

Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
