Two incumbents, Silke Pope and Emmett Jordan, have filed for Greenbelt City Council. Their nomination forms have been certified by City Clerk Bonita Anderson. Candidate biographies are prepared by the candidates and published as they are received by the paper. They join candidates Ric Gordon, Matthew Inzeo, James Whipple, Jenni Pompi, Danielle McKinney, Moses Sekatawa and Kristen Weaver.
Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court.
