Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Council story reference to the Klu Klux Klan involves a march that was to take place in 1997.

The News Review wishes to clarify that the Klu Klux Klan march referred to in our story on the September 11 council meeting that appeared in the September 21 issue of the paper, actually refers to an anticipated situation in November 1997 and that no such march is envisaged in 2017.  The online paper has been updated to make this clarification.

Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
