Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Chief James Craze Nears Retirement after 45 Years

We all thank and congratulate Chief Craze for his 45 years of service to the department, the organization and the citizens of Greenbelt. His is a record of service second to none in a community and organization where long exemplary service is something of a tradition. Chief, you have made thousands of lives better and Greenbelt has benefited greatly from your leadership. Congratulations and thank you!

Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
