Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court. 

Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair….

If you’re going to the Center this weekend, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair for the 12th annual Green Man Festival. This year flowers and all the blooming things will be celebrated. Children will be able to make small flower gardens and learn how to make paper flowers. One could make a green figure with a giant bug for a friend or run into a fellow doing magic tricks under the sun or chase the bubbles floating through the air. There will be tasty festival food with an international flair and good sweet treats. Public Hearing on Proposed Annexation Rescheduled to March 9
